ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Working mothers never seem to have enough time.
Having to spend 8-9 hours at the office plus travel time makes it close to impossible to always be there for one’s family and experience some (if not most) of the children’s milestones.
I am Marie Grace B. Parazo, and I am first and foremost a mother to two adorable kids. I am Filipino, and wear many hats: baker, entrepreneur, CEO of Parazo Digital Business Solutions Inc., and founder of The Bailiwick Academy.
Back when I was juggling running my home and my career in the BPO industry, I thought to myself that there must be a better, less stressful way to earn a living while spending more time with my family.
I attended various training sessions to enhance my cooking and baking skills at Heny Sison Culinary School, the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM) and other online courses. I saw with my own eyes, people coming from far-flung provinces and even other countries, just to attend these workshops. They had to travel, book accommodations...it was a lot of effort. I saw the need for a more convenient way of learning.

The idea is for everyone to have more time. Time to do the things they love, time for their families and even (or more importantly) time for themselves. I envisioned creating a world-class company which supports people to turn their hobbies and passion into a profitable business, thus making time for things that really matter.

Thus, The Bailiwick Academy was born.
